A Helpful Introductory Guide

PVIP INTRODUCTION

The Premium Visa Programme (PVIP) is a long-term residency visa that enables investors, entrepreneurs, and foreign talents to live, work, or study in Malaysia for up to 20 years with an option to extend for another 20 years. Participant will enjoy the same rights as a Permanent Resident.

ATTRACTIVE FEATURES OF PVIP

  • No age limit.
  • Long term residency of 20 years with an option to extend for an additional 20 years.
  • No minimum physical stay requirements.
  • Allowed to work and carry out legal business activities in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
  • Allowed to study.
  • Allowed to purchase real estate for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes.
  • Allowed to conduct active investments in permitted fields.
  • Participants can be accompanied by dependants such as spouse(s), child(ren), parent(s), in-law(s), and one foreign domestic helper.

PVIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

(FOR PRINCIPAL APPLICANT)

INVESTMENT
Pledge a local fixed deposit placement of RM1,000,000 with a licensed bank in Malaysia.
LETTER OF GOOD CONDUCT
Provide a letter of good conduct from the authority of the country the Principal Applicant is currently residing in.
PROOF OF FOREIGN INCOME
Provide proof of offshore income of at least RM40,000 monthly or RM480,000 annually.
MEDICAL
Submit a medical report from any private hospital or registered clinic in Malaysia, and proof of valid local medical insurance coverage.

PVIP APPLICATION PROCEDURE

APPOINTMENT.
Principal Applicant to Attend Engagement Meeting (In-Person/Virtual) and Appoint STATUS PREMIER SDN BHD as PVIP Processing Agent
PRE-SCREEN.
Principal Applicant to Prepare Required Documents and Submit to STATUS PREMIER SDN BHD for Pre-Screening
PAYMENT.
Principal Applicant to Make Payment of Agent Processing Fee to STATUS PREMIER SDN BHD
SUBMISSION.
PVIP Agent to Submit Formal Application to IDM for Approval (Estimated Time of 60 Working Days to Obtain Conditional Approval)
APPROVAL.
Principal Applicant Make Payment of the Participation Fee(s) and Submit Supplementary Documents:
  1. Proof of Fixed Deposit of RM1,000,000
  2. Medical Check-Up Report
  3. Proof of Malaysian Medical Insurance
COLLECTION.
Principal Applicant to Present Valid Passport for PVIP Visa Collection

4. Latest 3 months pay slipMonthly offshore income must be above MYR 40,000 or yearly offshore income must be above MYR 480,000
5. Employment confirmation letterA letter from the company mentioning about monthly salary, job position, and entry date with the company stamp
6. TIN certificate
7. Latest 3 Months Personal Bank Statement3 Months Personal Bank Statement which reflect monthly/yearly income and tally with the pay slip provided

REQUIRED TO TRANSLATE + NOTARIZE + CERTIFY BY MALAYSIA EMBASSY
